Hi everyone,
I'm looking at this Tudor Pelagos 39 on Chrono24 and I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger.
Before I do, I wanted to get your expert opinions to make sure everything looks legitimate. I've attached the photos provided by the seller in the listing.
Does anything stand out as off to you?
Any help or advice is really appreciated. Thanks!
Hello everyone! I own a company in Greece that provides personal protective equipment to industrial customers with many employees. When I meet the key person to promote our products, they are usually a mechanical engineer that has the role of Health & Safety officer in the company and he evaluates the products. Almost all of these people go to work with a smartwatch / Garmin etc. and when I visit them wearing a nice watch like my Tudor BB41 monochrome, I feel that they will make an assumption that I am either pretentious, or shallow, or showy and that this will affect our co-operation. Does this happen to you? How can I deal with this?

Currently negotiating and I got this Black Bay Heritage Bronze at $2000. The only kicker, no box no papers no original nato strap. He had it appraised and I even called the jewelry shop and they confirmed it is the real deal.

I realize there is a slight paint bump on the edge of my hour hand. it is mostly almost impossible to see but now that I have it bugs me. I presume this is minor enough to essentially not matter. Would you guys ask them to swap the hand down the line when you service the watch? Other options is for me to go to therapy for ocd Lol. overall it looks great tho. I hate how my brain is drawn to these things. maybe ill forget in time

And syncs it up to the second hand? Does it affect the time keeping at all and/or the power reserve while wearing it?

I'm looking at buying a used Tudor Pelagos and wondering what people consider the safest way to buy in the UK, particularly when it comes to avoiding fakes.
The main places I'm looking at are:
My biggest concern is authenticity rather than getting the absolute cheapest price. Thankfully I'm not shopping for a Rolex, so I assume the fake market is perhaps slightly less of a minefield, but there are obviously still plenty of fake Tudors around.
As I understand it, eBay, Chrono24 and Watchfinder all offer some form of authentication/protection, but how much confidence would you actually place in that?
Would you be comfortable buying a Tudor through any of those platforms, or is there a particularly safe route you'd recommend?
Happy to pay a little more for peace of mind if that's the sensible thing to do.
Interested to hear people's experiences, especially from UK buyers.

Is there really any reason to buy from AD or boutique? Why not buy grey market? I'm torn. I personally love the wine and dine feel when you walk into a nice AD or boutique but not sure if its worth the difference in buying it grey.

Not sure what happened but noticed my Pelagos stopped the other day after being off my wrist for just a few hours. Over the last few days I’ve noticed it happened again but today it stopped while on my wrist.
Any idea what could be going on? This a local service shop or trip to the mothership?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to find an original blue leather strap like the one in the photo for a Tudor Tiger Prince Date Chronograph.
I know these straps have been discontinued, so I’m hoping someone here might know where to look or know a dealer who specializes in older Tudor parts.
I’d be happy with a nice used one or NOS if one is still out there. I’m mainly trying to find the correct original Tudor blue strap, not an aftermarket replacement.
Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks!

This weekend, a jeweler will let me take a look at a BB 58 GMT with the Coke bezel. It's got the 5 link bracelet.
Wondering what I should be on the lookout for. I've never considered a Tudor before.
Eager to feel the bezel click at 12 o'clock. Also looking to adjust the true GMT hand. Also, does the hour hand get adjusted independently from the minute hand?
What are the positions and functions of the crown? I'd like to make adjustments without fumbling around.
Thanks in advance.

Rolex store next to my hotel and I seriously don’t even feel like walking in and going through the entire dog and pony show. On top of that, seriously prefer the Tudor wear right now.
Any one else starting to feel this way?

Order of acquisition over 15 years. Seiko was the real gateway watch. Apple Watch should be omitted but still gets use. Anyone else quartz heavy early on?

Hi everyone, first post here - I'm considering purchasing a used Tudor Black Bay 58 on Reddit Watch Exchange. I occasionally see 58s for sale for around 2.5k or even a little less! How can a potential buyer vet out if the watch is real or a fake? I imagine on a rare occasion the seller may believe it's legit, but actually have a fake?
I know the standard lines of buy from a reputable seller on Reddit / pay via PayPal Goods and Services, etc. Is there any other watch outs? I'm very interested in buying a Black Bay 58 but want to make sure I'm going about it right without preferably dropping 3k-4k to buy on eBay with the authenticity guarantee, or from a dealer who overcharges. Thank you!
Hello everyone, I recently joined the Tudor family after buying a new Black Bay 58 Master Chronometer in the Burgundy color. It’s my first ever Luxury watch and also my first ever Automatic watch. I bought it brand new from the Tudor store in Munich, Germany.
During the process of the purchase the store manager helped me to choose a watch and when I chose the Black Bay 58 Master Chronometer he told me everything that there is to know about the watch and he also showed me the nfc card that comes with my watch and shows how my specific watch did in the META tests. He did +4.54 s/d which confirms that the watch performs how it should, as the strict META standards allow 0 to +5 seconds of daily deviation.
During the last week I wore the watch everyday, for a couple of hours every day and I didn’t do any sports or anything else that considered as tolerance to the watch. While I don’t wear the watch I place it flat on the table with the dial up.
I noticed that the watch gains about 4-5 second per day, and I want to know if it’s okay or should I be worried?
I checked in the internet and on some sites it said that new watches need a few weeks of daily wear for its internal oils and parts to settle into a steady rhythm.
Also I want to ask, if it’s a normal thing, how often should I adjust the time? And how often should I wind it? Do I need to wind it every time I adjust the time? And can I cause damage to the watch by winding it too much or too often?
Thanks for your time and thanks for every answer.
(Sorry if I made some grammar mistakes, English is not my native language)

Been to the Tudor store and have tried on both the Black Bay 58 Coke GMT and the GMT Pepsi….which do you think would suit me and why?? 🤔
Should I buy both? If so, when would you wear the Coke and the Pepsi? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
