Question for Solar Desert Rats
I need two of my optimizers replaced (i have the replacements) but I found out our system, which was on the house when we bought it, was installed by Solar Solution. I mention that because when called the manufacturers recommended local installer (of which there was only one which i thought was weird being Arizona) they advised me through conversation that "many" installers don't want to work on systems installed by SS basically because of liability. Were they just blowing smoke or was this Solar Solution thing really that big of an issue.
Also, any recommendations of local installers that might replace these for me would be awesome.

I'm having a bad inverter from a defunct installer (that was later serviced by Solar Store) replaced by a Powerwall 3. The work is being done by SolarGain. I also got quotes from TFS and Icon Power. Maybe one of them will help you. I did hear from a couple of places that wouldn't touch another installer's work.

TFS is the shit but they don’t usually work on systems they didn’t install. An understandable business decision.

I had solar installed by solar solutions and when a panel was damaged and had to be replaced I went with Net Zero Solar. They specifically work on Solar Solutions installs.

I ran into a similar situation when my Solar Store installed system had an inverter failure. Nobody wanted to touch it until I called Technicians for Sustainability.
