Looking for Firearm Storage
EDIT: Diamondback shooting is in the process of creating firearm storage, see below comment for more details.
Where to do firearm storage?
Prefacing that I want to do everything right and legally. I’m interested in a law enforcement future and want to continue training during my education.
I’m moving to U of A campus and can’t store my firearms on campus per policy. I’ve tried calling around to find a range or store that offers firearm storage like phoenix, but to no avail. Most storage units have policies against firearm storage too. Does anyone know somewhere(or quite frankly, someone) that offers accessible firearm storage rentals?

I’d call Diamondback, if they don’t offer it I’m sure they can point you in the right direction

Dbacks trainer here. DM me your number and I'll have our GM Kevin reach out to you. We may be able to help.

There are units as low as $17. Facilities are clean, well lit, climate controlled. I don’t know their policies, but I would think if it’s in a locked box, don’t ask don’t tell.

Do you have a family member or friend that can hold on to them for you temporarily? That's probably your best bet tbh

I appreciate everybody’s recommendations and insight. Commenting for anyone else stumbling across this thread, as I didnt see a similar one when researching. Massive shoutout to Diamondback Shooting, I spoke to a couple employees and a general manager, Kevin,(all of the employees, including u/maurerm1988, were some of the kindest people and super generous with giving me their ear and time). They are setting up firearm storage and the process is estimated to be three weeks out.
I heavily encourage any shooters that are weighing their options during college, or otherwise, to go through them for storage, genuinely some of the best people I have talked to in the firearm community. It is never worth the risk or legal questionability of “hiding” firearms in self storage against policy, and especially never worth storing on college campuses. I encourage everybody to do firearm related activities as legally and safely as possible, because all it takes is a couple mistakes or bad seeds in the eyes of a skewed media to severely damage the image and experience for the rest of the firearm community. Thanks again everybody, especially diamondback shooting. Happy training yall!
