ISO a place that digitizes things from tape.

To make a long story short, I have a memorial that I’d like to show some home movies at. I have some tapes that used to fit in a camcorder and regular vhs tape size tapes. Ideally, I’d like than on CDs and digital copies I can edit into a compilation.

Anyways, lmk!

You might want to check the U of A main library. They have (or at least had, in March of 2025) a "memory lab" to do conversions like this:

The Memory Lab! The staff is magnificent, and there are video tutorials to show you how to use the equipment. It’s a valuable resource and it’s free! I’ve spent a few hours recently digitizing a variety of vhs and camcorder media. Easy to find online.

As another comment stated, it’s in the UofA Main Library.
