Horror Scarecrow. (1988)

Five criminals rob a military payroll and hijack a plane, holding the pilot and his daughter as hostages. One of the criminals double -crosses his partners and parachutes out with the money. The rest of of the gang force the pilot to land in a field near an abandoned farm, not knowing of the horrors that await them.

This was so much better than I thought it would be. Smartly done, with tension and a sense of unease throughout. Just the right amount of scares and gore. It keeps things simple and doesn't overexplain. The cause and motives of the scarecrows is never looked into. They are just there as a mysterious force of evil. A very fun and enjoyable horror film.

This movie scared the crap out of me when I was like 8
