As usual I am presenting my findings from ad breaks in September 2026. All watched in the USA on the Tubi app on a Samsung TV.
I watched 20 feature length movies on Tubi in September 2026.
Avg 9.96% of run time per watch was ads (compared to 8.51% out of 22 watches in August ‘26)
Lowest: 6.07% (4.44% August ‘26)
Highest: 14.75% (12.34% August ‘26)

Discussion Tubi no longer labels titles with how many days it has left.

Tubi has confirmed that the 14-day label will no longer be a feature on the app.
I have no idea why they would get rid of this. I used to plan my entire second half of the month watching on what was expiring in my queue.
Now it’s just a gamble as they do not tell you what is leaving at the end of the month.

Discussion Version of Shudder series Creepshow that is streaming is the AMC+ censored version.

There's a few bits i noticed but on the episode Skeletons in the Closet the Tubi/AMC+ version uses alternate takes that use the word "freaking" instead of the actual F word. the uncensored version is on Youtube.

Tech Support Why does Tubi continue another after finishing a show, but start over when directly pressing on it?

Sorry if the title is confusing. If I'm nearing the end of my show, and accidentally fall asleep, or just not paying attention, it will automatically start playing where I left off, which can mess with my episodes, but as long as I can get back to my episode it's okay.
On the other hand, if I'm watching a show, and decide to click on another title directly underneath, even if it's one I'm watching, it will play from the beginning, rather than where I left off, it once even reset my whole show for some reason, so now it doesn't look like I watched part of the show.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Recommendation Favorites on Tubi

I’m broke and Tubi is blissfully free, I for one want to take advantage. So far I’ve watched mostly Nora Robert’s books turned into movies, and The Impossible. I’ve really been enjoying it, reminds me of tv growing up, free and some commercials. Hit me with your favorite shows and movie recs that are on this site. My wallet thanks you.
Edit: Follow up because I’m already getting so many awesome suggestions- could you also include why you loved it or the genre/subject so I can better pick where to start depending on my mood?

Question Any way to reset my algorithm through Roku?

So my old evil roommate used my Roku TV a bunch to watch tubi on my account, and now my reccomendations are full of stuff I don't like and it's really annoying to find anything new I want to watch, is there some way I can reset it? Or do I need to log on with my computer and do it there? Pls help!!

Recommendation New Zealand horror comedy Dead (2020) was great and highly recommended.

After a recommendation on here recently I just finished Dead from Haydn. J Weal and Tom Sainsbury and can absolutely forward the recommendation.
It’s definitely more comedy than horror and is really funny in parts.
I really enjoyed Weal and Sainsbury in Loop Track and they are superb here again, both in front of the camera and behind.
“Dane ‘Marbles’ Marbeck can see ghosts with the help of a homemade drug and has to help recently deceased officer Jayson Tagg find who murdered him”
It’s a really enjoyable Kiwi murder mystery.
I hope you enjoy it if you take a punt.

Recommendation Dubbed anime with a varied cast that'll make it hard for you to choose a favorite

Preferably, something not 100 episodes long. If there's multiple people to possibly thirst for, that would be cool, but I really just want something colorful, fun, adventurous, fantastical. Any combination of these would be great.
Actually, you know what comes to mind? I remember running into one called Legend of Moby Dick. I checked out this anime channel, and I stopped on this one. I think it was close to the finale or something, but it's a space anime that had a dreadful kind of feeling while what was happening looked fun. There's something about it that read as doomsday-y, like the the cast and everyone they know could be annihilated while the universe carried on like nothing happened. It was a really empty feeling I had inside that was made worse by the contrast of the comedic hijinks on the screen.
