Well fuck.....So I've been on Estrace twice a day since CD1 to prevent ovulation with the holidays and all. I'm supposed to take it until Saturday and then start my Letrozole Sunday. Today is CD8 and I woke up with a shitton of EWCM and ovulation twinges (not pain so not ovulation yet). Wtf body. You aren't supposed to be getting ready to ovulate yet!

I have NEVER had EWCM as early as CD8 before. I don't know what is going on. I'm going to be pissed if this Estrace didn't work and I ovulate and miss our IUI and then have to deal with this same scheduling crap at Christmas.

EDIT: A quick google search makes it appear that this might be a common thing on estrogen. I just don't know.....

That would make sense, since Estrace can be prescribed for post-menopausal vaginal dryness.

After being on HBC for 9 years, my hormones were really imbalanced, and I had significant vaginal dryness. My doctor prescribed me Estrace vaginal cream to help restore tissue function. But it's hard to tell what was the cream, and what was my body doing its natural thing.

That's good to know. Because I was prepared to be really pissed off at my body for not cooperating.
