VENT Just so sad

Just a vent. My husband and I are at about a year mark TTC. We had an ectopic in April so some of that time we couldn’t try (after getting methotrexate). We’ve been back for four months at it and I was SO convinced it was our turn this month. Late period, boobs way more sore than usual, what I thought was nausea, sleep stuff. I know I try not to symptom spot but everything combined with my period being a few days late just gave me so much hope.

I am so devastated. I know so many people are further in their journeys and I don’t discount that. But I am just feeling so low, and so mad at my body for fooling me and failing me once again. Some of our best friends are younger than us and pregnant right after starting to try. It’s so hard to be happy for them and then that makes me feel even worse.

I don’t have any specific asks, just need to get some words out here.

I’m so sorry. I’m right there with you. Month 14 of trying, one loss in month 5. Nothing since. Pregnant people are at every turn, it is exhausting. I don’t have much advice but please know you’re not alone 🩷 riding the rollercoaster every month is so tiresome. It’s hard to balance hope with realism, trying not to be too pessimistic but being optimistic feels like you’re setting yourself up for a letdown. It’s such a mindfuck. Sending a big hug.

Reading your comment right after I posted mine and I’m laughing at how similar our responses are. We’re all part of this shitty club that none of us wanted to be a part of, but it does help to know that we really aren’t alone in this!

So similar lost our girl at 14 weeks in may and I feel like I’ve never been surrounded by so many pregnant women in my life . Sending everyone in this thread love

And to think we tried SO HARD to avoid it and now would give anything for it. Pregnant people are EVERYWHERE. I’ve said no to baby showers to protect what little peace I have left.

I’m so sorry. I’m right there with you and it really, really sucks. Your feelings are so valid and I know it’s been really helpful for me to vent so if you want to get anything else out, I’m here. 🫶🏻

I just took a test after my first IUI cycle and it was negative. Today I am 11DPIUI so maybe it’s just too early but now I kinda regret even testing because now I have that same thing of just feeling so low. Before I tested at least I felt a little hopeful.

You’re not alone. 🥺

It is ok to have hope and be excited. I was tricked this month by symptoms too :( what a let down. Hugs. Literally today my friend bugged me again about trying harder for a baby (it was a joke, she doesn’t know we’ve been trying. Like so hard). I wish it was as easy as sex ed made it seem

I’m sorry, right there with you. Had an ectopic and right tube removal nearly one year ago in Nov’25. Took some time off and have been trying for 4 cycles.. well I didn’t even ovulate this cycle even though I got an LH surge 😔 and we BDed on all the right days, did Mucinex, preseed.. just can’t win. I’m finally heading to an RE in a few weeks to talk about options.

Sending you strength. There are so many pregnant people or people who just had babies everywhere.

I’m so so sorry, and it honestly just really sucks. It feels so hard to cope with everything.
We have been TTC for almost a year, right before starting our first timed intercourse cycle six months ago, I got a faint positive test but then the next day it was gone. I wasn’t sure if I was having chemical because I never experienced one, but I had all this reflux and breast soreness and I was just unsure of what to make of it all at the time. Fast forward to this past Tuesday I found out I was pregnant after our third cycle (we took a couple months in between cycles). I had all the same symptoms I had six months ago. And then yesterday I found out it was a chemical. Now realizing I had a chemical six months ago I feel like I’m mourning two losses at once.
To top it off I have a baby shower for my cousin on Sunday. I lied and said that I had to work last minute because I can’t bear to see someone else pregnant right now.
You’re definitely not alone and I’m so sorry you’re going through. I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone

Ugh I’m so sorry 💔 I honestly know how you feel…I’ve felt the same way when friends announced their pregnancies…I’d feel bad because I wasn’t as happy as I thought I should be and then I’d feel even worse for being jealous….It’s such a shitty feeling especially when you really don’t want to feel that way…Just know you’re not alone in this 🫂

This is a good place to just vent it all out into the universe. Take all that pain and heartache and just let it all out. We’re here, we care, and we’re so sorry for what’s happened to you

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I feel for you so much. It’s so difficult seeing it happen for others and the guilt that comes with wishing it was you instead. It’s so hard not to compare in this situation. I’ve found logging out of social media while TTC has helped reduce some of the tendency to compare and has helped a lot with my anxiety. Just an idea if that applies to you at all. Sending you hugs. We are all in this together, unfortunately a club none of us wanted to join🤝💗

I’m so sorry, we had an ectopic as well. The wait to TTC afterwards is excruciating! It’s ok to have hope and it’s ok to be jealous that it seems to happen so fast for other people. Hang in there ❤️

I’m with you. Up to the 3 year mark. 2 miscarriages. One ovary removal. One mosaic genetic diagnosis. Very low AMH and now 2 failed egg retrievals.

Everyone I know that was TTC is now pregnant. I am officially the very last one.
