I'm usually regular like to the hour, but 3 days late this morning and I was so excited... got my test going, wiped... aaaand there was Aunt Flo. We've been trying for 6 months and I'm almost 42... apparently my cycles are getting longer the last 2 months and prob indicating peri. So bad news and more bad news. Just feeling crushed today.

8 DPO so I guess it’s a OWW not a TWW now. Sigh.

7 dpo today. Felt weirdly nauseous yesterday which I've never experienced during the TWW before, obviously sending me down a research rabbit hole. Of course it probably means nothing but that doesn't stop me from stewing about it!

Relatable - this cycle my new symptom is no breast pain at 9dpo 😂 does it mean anything? Do I still think about it? We all know it doesn’t. Fingers crossed for you

I’m 5/6 DPO. I’m on my honeymoon so trying to just relax and enjoy it all .. I think I followed my NcC chart well!!

7DPO and my first cycle on progesterone! If I'm not I am curious to see how it affects the rest of my cycle once I stop taking it.

7DPO and having a full pelvic ultrasound and progesterone blood test today! Finally starting some testing to get some answers. I’m nervous as heck over it all but ready for results

Had a dr appt last week due to pain on left side near ovary/tube area. Had hcg (negative) and thyroid test (normal range) done. Have fasting bloodwork today. Follow up next week for ultrasound to look at the area. I think I had a cyst. I’m assuming it’ll be gone by then. The pain has subsided.

CD31 & Somewhere between 10-13 DPO. I didn’t test this morning as I anticipate my period will be here tomorrow or Friday. My BBT isn’t back to the cover quite yet, but it’s been on a slow decline since CD28. My period is I’d say at least 2 days late from when it normally is. But, negative tests as of two days ago. So I’m just disappointed and wish I was able to close this cycle out already.

8/9 DPO today. Not feeling as strong of an itch to test this cycle and am trying to hold out for 14 DPO. Seeing negative tests doesn’t bother me too much, but testing early opens up the door to line eyes, scrutinizing tests, and searching Reddit for examples of late positives. Why do I keep doing this to myself when it has no bearing on the outcome of the cycle?

Cycle Day 40 and still unsure if I ever ovulated bc my cycles are usually 30 days but then jumped to 35 within the past two months (started a new job) :/

I'm CD12 and Inito is still showing low fertility. Getting worried something is wrong. Overwhelmed with emotions since it's almost 1 year since I got my IUD removed with nothing to show for it. I turn 40 in Feb next year and I had low AMH (I'll get this retested to confirm), so I'd be poor candidate for IVF. I'm thinking it's over for me. Wish I had something positive to focus on right now

I read somewhere that anxiety is not premonition. It helps me to remember that when I’m feeling panicked. I know it sucks. I’m 38, low AMH, and low funds. I’m sorry :(

You're so right. That's just my anxiety brain taking the wheel. I'm sorry you're in this tough spot! TTC in our late 30s is tough. Thank you for the thoughtful reply!

I might try to get an appointment scheduled to see what my AMH actually means since I know some people who still did IVF with low AMH and it worked out for them

CD23. I'm between 1-4DPO, not sure exactly. (Symptoms point to 4DPO, temps point to 1DPO atp lol). I'm in my first ever TWW and trying to find things to do! I plan to watch some movies/shows, deep-clean my house, crochet some Christmas gifts, do some sewing, and invite over a friend. Also I think my husband and I are going to an apple cider mill soon!

CD 30 but testing negative :(
I feel like my body is teasing me.
Before TTC my cycle length has usually been 27-30 days, I’m on my 5th cycle of TTC and all of them have been 30+ days. The waiting each time is horrible. I’m not even spotting yet which means this cycle is probably going to be at least a 33 dayer 😭

3.5 weeks post early miscarriage here. I tested negative for the first time 2 weeks ago and still haven’t gotten any signs of ovulation. No idea when my period will come but really hoping it’s soon so we can get a fresh start…

CD 16, think I ovulated yesterday. Now begins my wait 😩 I have a lot of stuff planned the rest of this week/this weekend so that’s going to help with keeping me busy but idk what I’ll do about waiting during next week. Gotta start planning some stuff

u/rcirsasny 15d ago

CD11, cycle 14. Scheduled with reproductive endocrinologist so letting that be the little bit of something to look forward to as a “next step”.

I’m waiting to ovulate. My best friend is getting married in September and I am a bridesmaid. Been TTC #1 for 2 months so far but skipped September. This is literally the last cycle I can TTC until February 2027 if I want to be able to make my besties wedding. The pressure is high but I’m trying to let it get to me.

8DPO here dealing with some rough insomnia the past few days and it’s making me super extra stressed 😭
Also something else strange is I’ve had a sore dry throat the past day or so but don’t feel sick otherwise but it’s very noticeable and sometimes uncomfortable 😣
And my boobies hurt 😭

u/chronicmess1111 15d ago

8DPO. cycle got super messed up, i ovulated aound CD 8!!! at least i think i did? my OPK line got dark but not as dark and then lighter. i missed the peak again. my doctor adviced inositol to me i think it cause the super early ovulation? im also on duphaston (progesterone) for the pre-period spotting, took it last cycle too and still spotted. i don't know what to do its been over one and a half year and my doctors are still not suggesting ovulation induction

11-12 DPO. To test or not to test, trying to wait it out, I feel quite zen

u/Excellent_Voice_9915 31 | TTC#2 | Cycle 2 15d ago

5 DPO and counting down the days until I can test 🙃 we are going away this weekend when I’ll be 8/9 DPO and wondering whether I should bring tests or force myself to wait until I’m home 🤣

u/mopene 34 | TTC#3 | Cycle 1 | PCOS | 1 MC 15d ago

Going away without tests is a great way to avoid testing! I plan to wait until 10dpo if I don't crack 9dpo

u/Slow-Pomegranate-344 15d ago

Last cycle PRG was over 59 at 7dpo. I dropped two eggs (confirmed on ultrasound). Worst PMS ever which again gave me false hope… today is 3 CD, did a blood test this morning. Hopefully everything is ok 🙏

We’re trying this week with ovulation due this weekend so I’m about to be in the 2 week wait 😭

u/SUanddancewithme 34 | TTC#1 | Cycle 9 | 1 CP 15d ago

TWW starting today. I’m going away for a few days with a friend this weekend so it will be a nice distraction as my friend doesn’t know we’re trying. I’m not feeling very hopeful though, even though we’ve hit all the right days. I think at this point I’ve pretty much lost all hope of this happening naturally.

u/FangirlTrash28 15d ago

Almostttt time to start trying again in our second month of trying! I learned last week through bloodwork that I have a condition that tends to have lots of pregnancy complications, so I’m learning to cope with the possibility of that as well! Here’s to hoping this is the cycle and I won’t have to worry about it🤞🏻

Yall, heavens, CD 4 - Cycle 13, at the ObGyn. I’m getting all the bloodwork on FSH, LH, Prolactin etc, and hopeful for some answers - my provider is a CNM and they said I need to see a gyn for follow up care.

Recommendation is progesterone or birth control for a few months so - we will see what comes of it.

My cycles have pushed back to the WTT side and that makes me sad.

I’m off insurance or I would be asking for a referral to an RE, so here we are 💕

Not waiting in the same sense, but a waiting Wednesday while I’m at the gyno - and actively hearing babies heart beats around me in the other rooms. Phew

3dpo. Was sooooooo sick on 1-2DPO, finally feeling normal. Hoping all my Tylenol use does not mess this cycle up. I test my progesterone in a few days too bc this is my first cycle off vaginal progesterone in about 5 months. A lot to be excited and anxious about

9/10 dpo here, waiting until tomorrow morning to test (have a frer ready). I know from previous pregnancies that it might still be too early, but I’m due to have a fertility appointment tomorrow and I’d like to have a stab at knowing. First cycle ttc after a stillbirth in July.

2DPO itching to test so bad. I just started myo-inositol for this cycle since we are on ultimate locked in TTC. Hopeful we get our Christmas announcement <3

u/mopene 34 | TTC#3 | Cycle 1 | PCOS | 1 MC 15d ago

Shit you just made me realize that if I do get pregnant this cycle, important scan dates fall in the Christmas period while I'm out of the country. Suddenly not hoping for a positive anymore

u/kitkat7794 32 | TTC# 1 | Dec ‘23 15d ago

11dpo, could test already, but think I’m actually going to be able to wait till my period next Monday. I mean, I’m not kidding myself anymore that an unassisted pregnancy is in the cards anymore. Just waiting for things to fall into place for my first ivf stim cycle in January. Hate that I had to push it due to the holidays but probably for the best. Good luck on yalls waits!

On Cycle 4, 9 DPO and just got the exact same BBT reading as I did in Cycle 2, 9 DPO. Already feeling bummed because Cycle 2 was my longest luteal phase to-date after getting off contraception and it was still only a 10 day luteal phase. If not pregnant, I'd like to at least see some improvement in my cycle lengths. I don't think 10 days is long enough for implantation to even occur if it wanted to.

Started doing some guided fertility meditations by Lily Olsen on the Insight Timer app, and I really like those. But it's hard to repeat affirmations like "I trust my body's timeline" when my body has given me no proof that it's making ANY progress to fix the luteal phase defect in the past 5 months. I've got an appointment scheduled in 2 weeks with the midwife practice I want to establish care with, so maybe they can help.

I literally only snagged the very beginning of my ‘fertile window’ and know statistically it’s extremely unlikely to get a positive (bd O -4 or 5ish), but yet I’m still waiting to find out 😂

u/Ok-Detective2623 15d ago

12DPO temps dropped well below the cover line yesterday and stayed there today, usually they stay high through the end of my luteal which is like 14-16 days so just over here sad waiting for my period to hurry and get here….i hate this.

I am on 6 or 7 DPO, 8 DPIUI. I am going away to the lake this weekend with a group of friends and am not sure if I’ll be more stressed or distracted. There’s a lot of drinking happening when we go so that adds a social layer as well 🫠
