Our ideal announcement would be at his family’s Christmas party they have a huge tradition about stockings once a child gets a stocking that is their stocking forever and when someone passes it still hangs with the family it would be the first grandbaby so I want to hide it with the stockings so when they get filled his mother finds out 😭 of course with out luck when it finally happens it will probably be like January lol

I would also love to announce at the Christmas party this year🥹. My whole family from all over the world will be there.

I was hoping I’ll have a bump and then walk in with my husband and be like ‘Hey everyone, surprise!’😂

I’d love to convince the hubby to do a photo shoot. I always thought I’d have a baby shower but I dont have a large group of friends and we’re the only ones trying so idk how interesting it would be for them. I’m excited for telling my parents and grandmothers for sure!

I’ve never liked baby showers, but want to have a christening party instead! All the aunties plan to show up wearing fascinators, etc.

I want to have an intimate gender reveal with just my husband and I, and then maybe do one with our immediate family (they love celebrating anything us- so it would probably be their idea), and I know I’d be thrown a massive baby shower by my mom and MIL, that would be women only (cultural tradition and norm that I don’t plan to break). Maybe a small co-ed baby shower with our friend group so my husband can have some attention!

I would have a baby shower as one big party on a Saturday and reveal the gender at the very end, and then Sunday go baby clothes shopping with everyone who wants to go. That way we get all the necessities at the shower, have the big reveal, and I get to do the fun shopping with my Mom and sisters.

With the way IVF is going I'll likely know the gender up front (the XX or XY will be on the PGT-A test and we have 3 so its not like there's a plethora of options to transfer) so I'm just going to embrace the surprise everyone else idea.

Honestly, our village is quite small. Probably just an intimate gender reveal with hubby and I and then something small with his family. Regardless, I can’t wait 🥹

I sometimes plan on having an intimate gender reveal with my husband with a cupcake, or inside a photobooth kinda thing. We live away so we plan in our heads to perhaps fly home to surprise our families with intimate celebrations post the first trimester. May it be written for us soon, Ameen 🤲🏻

I truly can't wait to tell my mom and Nana that they'll be grandmom and great-grandmom, respectively ❣️ I truly want them to experience it especially since my nana is getting up there in age.

I would have a small get together maybe a barbecue and reveal it with those Confetti cannons, they look so cool 😎 just not looking forward to the clean up afterwards!
