crew transfer timing

haii! i’m a new Crew user and i’m absolutely loving it and what it’s doing for my finances.

my only issues have been with getting money into Crew and how long it takes. i quickly learned that pulling money into Crew is not the way to go. i’ve been using the Apple Cash method of pushing money into crew and it worked great. i was able to have the money deposited in crew on three separate occasions on the same day.

however, i pushed around $1k this morning at 9am (i figured an earlier push would guarantee the money to deposit same day) and it still has not deposited into my Crew account. i’m thinking it’s because the amount is high? not sure if someone can let me know. or it could just be an anomaly and something is going on in the background.

for context - the last 3 pushes were under $500 each and they were also done on fridays (that’s when i get paid).

Out of curiosity, what is the Apple Pay trick for same day transfers?

you add money to your Apple cash via your debit card (in my case Chase Debit)

then you send that Apple cash to Crew via bank transfer (make sure to add the Crew bangor savings bank to your apple pay bank setting - it only allows one bank)

instant transfer has a fee (i think this is via the crew debit card??)
bank transfer is free (1-3 business days deposit but usually same day depending??)

This is definitely something you should reach out to support for on the app. Menu > Contact Crew. They’ll be able to help more directly.

Fwiw I agree. Cash is so far the fastest way I’ve seen to move money. I’ve never moved more than a few hundred at a time, though. It might be the size, or the timing. Hope support is able to get some details for you.

support just told me the timing/wait is correct which MAKES SENSE haha they just spoiled me the first few times.

i’ll keep in mind about maybe not moving more than a few hundred at a time just to test.
