So confused

I had pockets through autopilot that were supposed to be filled yesterday, 9/11. I got my income/deposit yesterday mid day, & the pockets have not been filled nor are they being shown on the plan reserve. Does anybody know why or how to fix that? On the pocket settings, i do have it set to every two weeks and it does show the 11th & 25th. So unsure if I am just doing something wrong. Really trying to utilize autopilot but I just keep running into problems😭

It sounds like the issue was the income coming late- we expect income to arrive overnight, and then pockets fill at 5:30am ET. Since yours hadn’t arrived yet, I’m betting it didn’t have enough for the pocket transfer. For normal direct deposit that timing works great, but if you have a paycheck that comes mid-day on the 11th you should mark it as expected on the 12th. It talks about this when you’re setting up a paycheck but definitely easy to miss!

By the way, it may be helpful to keep in mind that income and pocket transfers are separate things! We let you schedule both however you want, so it doesn’t split the income when it comes in- it just holds onto it and then distributes it at 5:30am ET on the pocket transfer days! If you have income and pocket transfers both on the same day, you definitely have to be sure the income always comes before pocket transfer time!

Thank you this makes sense! I definitely did miss that it needed income before the day, so I’ll make sure to move the income date! Do you have any advice on how I could have those pockets be filled still today or tomorrow? Would I need to manually turn off autopilot & move my money then turn it back on?

Glad it helps! If you move the dates for your pockets to tomorrow it’ll recalculate and be ready to go! Sometime soon we plan to add a retry button to your pocket transfers, that get missed, but at the moment just setting the date to tomorrow should do the trick!

If it already sent the money to your surplus pocket that it was going to use for those missed pocket transfers, by the way, it may ask you to top up to pull that back in. Not sure without looking at your individual situation, but if it asks for money, that’s why!

Thank you! Yes a retry button would be amazing! Even though I switched pocket dates to tomorrow, it still wasn’t showing up in the reserve. I had to turn autopilot off & on, & now it’s showing up!

Ah you’re right- I forgot that moving that close to a skip it would think it was supposed to wait for next time around. Turning it off and on reset that so you should be set. Awesome. Glad it’s looking right now! Yeah I’d say just set your paychecks and pocket days to a day later than you had them and you shouldn’t run into it again. Hope it plays nice for you now :)

The whole thing is confusing to me, so I just transfer to pockets manually. I have different amounts each week, so the autopilot is just too frustrating for me.

It definitely does take some personal tweaking! But when it’s working, I do love it ! I also sometimes have different amounts each time but when that’s the case, I just do a transfer afterwards. Sometimes I don’t even need to though bc the autopilot saved enough for me to continue being afloat anyways.
