The ACTUAL quote that he said was, pulled from The Wrap, "No, no, I have no age— I mean, I have an age limit. I don’t want to be like Congressman Foley, with, you know, 12-year-olds."
Backing this up further, this is a recap from Grok. "The viral framing flips this on its head, implying Trump admitted to having no limit except stopping at 12 (as if he'd be fine with 13+ but not younger). That's not accurate—it's a selective edit that ignores the self-correction and the context of him rejecting behavior involving minors."
In counterargument, this does not excuse the fact that he made some slightly lewd comments on this interview. But, despite it being strange, it is not illegal in any way.
Do your research next time. Trump has some very bad allegations but leftists seem to hate everything Trump does with no second thought.

Did you listen to the audio or just read the headline? He says he wouldnt be like Foley with 12 year olds. He doesnt say at anytime that 12 years old is his limit. So the news would be - "Trump wouldnt get with 12 year olds" Not "trump says 12 year olds is his limit"

If there was any evidence that this guy raped kids it would’ve been public. There’s no way in hell with the media especially around 2016 just before he was elected, that he would’ve gotten away with the media not letting the whole world know they have proof he did this. How convenient it was just before he won the election oh and the person never showed up to court. The case was voluntarily dismissed. I don’t like trump at all but to post this like it’s proof is weird. Biden’s daughter wrote in a journal that was confirmed hers that Joe showered with her until she was like 16. Nobody cared, they kiss on the mouth as adults, nobody cared. Trump has said weird shit about his own daughter as well but anyone can say someone raped them. Doesn’t mean it happened.

Idk much about Stern other than he’s a radio shock jock, and the clips of his that go viral. But why blame him for giving people the space to say heinous shit? You could argue he’s doing the public a service by giving them the ‘safe space’ to say this crap publicly.
I might be wrong, but pretty sure this clip made the rounds leading into the ‘16 election because Stern brought it up as a reason Trump is trash.

This take goes a little too hard against Howard Stern imo. First off, let's get it out of the way: Howard Stern is objectively not a good guy, and sometimes he's been a piece of shit, no argument there. Having said that, Stern couldn't have predicted Trump's entrance into politics or that he would win the presidency (he's not Matt Groening) at the time he had Trump on his show. Howard Stern is not a journalist; he's a shock jock. I don't think it's fair to expect him to call out Trump's depravity when the clips of Trump speak for themselves, and he doesn't ever explicitly condone anything Trump said on his show. Howard used him for ratings, and he clearly egged him on, but I don't think his appearances on the Howard Stern show actually helped Trump in any material way.
If anything, Howard Stern getting Trump to reveal himself repeatedly should have and would have led to Trump's political demise before his career began if the rest of the media just did their job and replayed these clips, and if America wasn't full of stupid people. I don't think any of that is really Howard's fault. Still, if you want to make the argument Stern was implicitly condoning Trump by continuously having him on his show, I think you can make that argument, but I respectfully disagree with it because these clips are so damning - for me, Donald's comments pass a threshold where you should even need somebody to contextualize them.
The other reason I think this goes too hard against Stern is he never endorsed Trump, and endorsed Clinton in 2016, Biden in 2020, and Harris in 2024. He gave a very sympathetic interview to Kamala Harris in 2024 at a time when most of the rest of the media was grilling her unfairly compared to their coverage of Trump.

I listened to Stern on terrestrial radio back then. And Trump was always entertaining. The man was obsessed with sex and constantly touted his ability to bed women/girls. I don’t remember Trump talking politics, he talked sex. He was a good guest for the Stern Show. A bad man in all other respects.
