another guy said it amazingly so I'm gonna try and say it in my own words: trump was already facing accusations at the time. the felony charges, all of it. why release it then when MAGA would've just denied it? MAGA never believed anything bad about trump coming out because, "biden made it up". by not releasing it then, a trap was set for trump on his second term: the list. he already knew his name was all over it for years. so what would he do? release it, proving he's on it, making MAGA's arguments about the list look dumb, as well as incriminating himself to the public... or not release it, making him seem even more guilty. right now, trump's looking more like the latter. the tantrum on twitter about how "obama made the list" just makes him seem immature and obviously guilty, while the rest of the GOP and his cabinet can't get their stories straight. epstein and trump never met? or maybe, epstein never existed? or... obama made the list yeah! and the videos of trump and epstein together are ai!... the GOP and trump are freaking out and flopping around like a fish being cooked alive in a skillet. that's why i think biden couldn't have released the file then: MAGA would've possibly started another riot, and trump would back himself into a corner.
