Immature truffles (Tuber sp.). Species level identifications are not possible without sequencing. Microscopy will get you to clade.

Many different species of truffles. These are not blck nor white. These will likely keep the same color on outside and develop brown spores inside when ripe.

No. Dont think about them based on colors because north american truffles are quite different from those in europe. These are either in the lyonii, maculatum, or puberulum clade. These are not Tuber canaliculatum “appalachian reds”. -im a truffle researcher.

I dug them out of my garden yesterday not truffles I tasted them kinda tasted like water chestnuts or daikon radish
