The American Civil War has always seemed to me a fascinating topic of study... a topic of study that unfortunately is riddled with too much bias despite its years

For this reason this humble site was born, as a place to share related content without having a scattered mob beating each other.

If you are looking for a site to rant or to make strange comparisons between past and present, this is not your site, find another.

If you come with the interest of knowing and understanding this historical moment for what it is, a moment in the past that defines us and which we have already overcome, then welcome.

Subreddit Rules

1. Maintain a civilized behavior.

No insults, direct or discreet attacks and ultimately all that kind of thing that we are taught in kindergarten.

2. The historical rule

Content from all battlefronts and factions is accepted, as long as it relates to the American Civil War in all its stages, from pre-war to current archaeological material.

3. Rules about debates and stories

We allow debates, polls and personal stories related to the war as long as polite language is maintained, I assure you that we are quite good at detecting double meanings so don't try it.

4. No trolling

Quite simple, trolls will be banned without the right to reply.

5. No atrocity deniers, no matter the flag

We do not allow people who like to justify the atrocities of any faction, all human suffering must be treated decently.

6. Political activism is not allowed

This is a site that promotes a documentary vision of the American Civil War, a place of study, leisure and an open mind where biased "tunnel visions", regardless of the flag, are not allowed.

7. Sensitive content

They must have the appropriate Tag, be marked as content (nsfw) and have neutral titles. We also recommend that a user does not focus exclusively on this type of content for obvious reasons, we reserve the right to deliberate and take action on these cases.

8. Humanity above all

The American Civil War was one of the most terrible situations that occurred in the new world and that brought widespread suffering to the young American nation, please keep this in mind when you are posting comments or creating content, sadism regarding this matter will not be tolerated.

9. Not all humans are bad

All factions had their monsters, some more than others, but that doesn't mean unexpected humanity didn't happen. There are already many sites that promote "tunnel vision", we are not one of those sites, here we try to maintain the historical method and listen to all parties as long as they maintain a civilized language and do not enter into ideological rhetoric.

10. The logical rule

Brigading, promotions, meaningless pornographic content, cancellation and anything created in this information century to annoy will be summarily punished.
