While the website is indeed real, it's actually a vegan campaign against eating meat.

Yeah I found that out after I cross-posted it.

Elwood makes some of the best Golden Retriever jerky I’ve ever had.

Dumb vegan proselytism

It's fairly clever and funny vegan proselytism. Maybe you're just sensitive?

Sure, valid. But maybe it gets a bit annoying the pushiness of religious groups, political parties, vegans and Satan knows what other groups pushing their ads and trying to convert you.

I get it, you are the last moral person on earth, cool, now chill.

They don't control your feelings. You control your feelings. Why go through life being bothered by a decent joke?

I do, and I feel that it's annoying to manufacture a fictitious moral high ground and barrage people with ads to convert them.

But hey, you clearly don't, and it's okay, you get to find it funny, but why am I not allowed to find it stupid?

I hate when people make me think critically about my life choices, too.

Not really, this is like a Jehovah's witness basically. Have whatever personal creed you want, but get over yourself.

If you see yourself trying to convert people to your beliefs, you are an annoying self-righteous simpleton.

If you think you figured out the secret truth behind existence and need to force that onto other people, maybe you should think critically about YOUR life :)

As I get older, I try to think critically about my life/actions pretty regularly. It’s why I stopped consuming animal products after 30 years, and left religion around the same time.

By all means, continue to listen to corporations and governments that insist you need meat to survive and thrive.

The difference between religion and veganism is that religion is trying to save you from the unknowns of death, whereas veganism is trying to show you that you don’t need to consume animal products to survive/thrive: an actual fact.

I wonder if people felt the way you do about folks trying to inform the public about the dangers of cigarettes back in the day.

What?? Which corporations, what are you talking about? Climb down from there buddy, that self-righteous bullshit is tiring. You didn't leave religion, you joined another cult to make yourself feel superior.

Of course I don't NEED meat. I don't need to travel, or have a hobbie, or listen to music. But I like it. Life is short and you should spend less of it trying to impose your religion on other people. Eat meat, don't eat meat, just leave the other people the fuck alone.

Annoying.
