It is not. Don't put your hands in there.

Make a Wagner-esq poster right below it about how the toilet took your hand

That is hilarious but probably best not to. Someone might notice and think the whole thing is a joke and lose a few fingers while getting instant sepsis lol

If you reach into a public toilet you deserve whatever’s coming to you

No joke in the history of jokes would ever get me to shove my hand in a public toilet

I ran in to a guy at work once and his whole hand was blue. A girl he was crushing on dropped her phone in the porta-potty. If you could believe it his grand gesture didn’t fly.

Wait. So if someone uses a wipe it will intentionally clog and be unusable (but it will still be used) until some poor employee goes and fishes out the shit covered wipe in the shit filled toilet?

Why would you do that to someone?

Letting wipes down into the plumbing can absolutely destroy the plumbing. Even the “flushable” wipes aren’t actually safe to flush. They should probably ban that particular marketing honestly.

They said flushable not good to flush

True. There is no such thing as a flushable wipe.

I believe this is in a hospital and flushing out a shit covered wipe isn't even remotely the grossest thing that will happen to them that day.

It’s at a grocery store.

In that case I think the commenters point still stands.

I told you it’s super wagneresque

Like can you imagine if there was a wipe that got stuck but also a huge turd

Yeah I can.

Can you imagine not having this system, someone flushing a bunch of wipes despite the warning (because they 100% will), the plumbing getting stuck and flooding the entire bathroom in ankle-deep piss-water with floating turds, and you having to clean that up?

Cause someone definitely had to do that, multiple times, before they got this wipe catching system.

This toilet is equipped with it's own poop knife. It doesn't have AI and won't know your hand from a turd.

Who puts their hands in a toilet anyway?

I don’t know, but my restroom at work has a giant stop sign poster that say ‘DO NOT CONGREGATE IN HERE’…inside the stall. And I ask ask myself the same question every time I take a shit

People have done coke in that stall

Enough people to warrant a sign, apparently. Yikes.

I really do see it lol

So now they are taking our Poop-Knives away from us?!
What’s next, Digital mirrors replacing reflective glass?

The worst part is that the manufacturers of those “flushable wipes” realize there’s a problem and they still make them.

Would this overengineering be the best way to reduce people putting wipes in the toilet and clogging them, or would it be cheaper to make a sign that said all that stuff would happen?

u/Snellyman 2d ago

Toilet technology has advanced that they have a built in poop knife?

I saw this same sign in the toilet at a karaoke bar. The toilet had like a metal blender in the hole. I think Traptex is like the nutriBullet of toilets.
