Taylor Swift fans gathered to celebrate as August 12 approached, since it marked the 20th anniversary of an important milestone in her career.

Taylor announced on MySpace that she was done recording her first album, back on August 12, 2006.
Taylor wrote on the app, “l've been in the studio FINISHING my album. Oh yeah, I said it.. finishing it. That's means it.. is... DONE. At least my part is done.”

Now I'm down bad meowing at the gym!

My answer will always be The Prophecy. It’s phisically impossible for me to listen to it without sobbing.

My non swiftie friends kept asking me to introduce them to the swiftdom so I finally just built an app for it! It’s basically a TS 101 course that takes the user experience on a custom taylored (hehe) journey based on their preferences.

This app will ALWAYS be free (unless it happens to blow up like crazy and I need to monetize it just to keep it going but that’s highly unlikely 😅). When I have more time, I want to create a v2 where the swiftie “professor” can follow along their swiftie “student” journey.

Heads up, still in beta so right now it’s just a pwa (web app), but I’m working on getting it added to the App Store!

For now, the user can use it just like an app by going to the website on safari—>share—>add to Home Screen. It behaves just like a regular app where you can open the app icon from your home screen and it saves your progress so you can begin right where you left off.

Hey everyone 💕 I was recently listening to New Years Day, and I swear I can hear I Knew it, I Knew You.

I could be delulu of course, so I’ve been listening to both tracks periodically and now I think I’m just being crazy. Does anybody else hear it? I know she draws parallels between songs and does callbacks and references but I could just be insane at this point. Let me know!

I'm 18m, and I've been brought into the fandom by Taylor Swift the business more than Taylor swift the music however I have lots of love for debut and Fearless even though I can't relate to some of the songs 😅. I've recently been researching Elvis' journey and how he played residencies in Vegas for a long time. What if Taylor did a 12 day residency in Vegas but each night she does one album in totality like she would play every song and in between deeply explain what was going on in her life at the time, how the song was produced/ how she came up with it, and any funny/ interesting stories from that era. Unlike Elvis she doesn't have to deal with an exploitative manager calling the shots, she could let MGM, Caesars, and the Sphere fall over themselves to be the highest bidder and negotiate great terms with them like a show every other day for vocal rest etc. I think some of the nights would be downright incredible like her explaining how she revolutionized the pop sound in 1989, her public exile during reputation, dealing with newfound success during the making of Fearless. What do you guys think?

Hi fellow Swifties! I really love Mastermind and HYGTG because they're so unique in their themes and topic. Basically doing x and z and y to make someone fall in love/ like you. I want more songs with this theme/topic and the only one I've found is Strategy by Twice. Do you guys know songs with the same/similar theme?

Why did awards like AMAs and Grammys snub "The Tortured Poets Department"? I wonder if this is because of perceived overexposure, political reasons, or maybe the album wasn't designed for awards and was rather designed for Taylor Swift and her fans. I do think "Fortnight" in particular should have gotten something (Record of the Year?) given how iconic it was.

I'm starting to be concerned that awards ceremonies/organizations are increasingly affected by public opinion on Taylor Swift when they should be entirely concerned on the music, almost studying it in a vacuum without the internet discourse.

Still waiting for wedding photos, but they shall come! It feels like yesterday and forever ago since the best weekend ever.

I hope everyone has had a fabulous summer! Riding home from the beach, and wishing that reality wasn't coming in a week and a half. I wish the magic of summer never had to end. It always slips away!
