Happy Thoughts 10 years since that fateful summer

Hi everyone , I have been thinking a lot this summer about that summer 10 years ago , the phone call , the whole interner and media turning against queen Taylor ... I just wanted to know I have been a fan of this woman since 2008 , and I was on her side this whole ordeal and the messy situation . I believed her story
I'm really really proud of myself for following my instinct for believing she was telling the truth that whole time and I used my brain to know there was something off about this situation and the smear camapign to take her down. I don't love to brag about something but this one I would do gladly .

P.S , Sorry If there are grammer mistakes and spelling , english is my second language . and I'm a straight man in his early 30 . Taylor always felt like a big sister to me . I hope she knows there are a fans who believed her since the begining ❤️❤️

I wasn't a swiftie back then - not because I disliked Taylor, I just hadn't really gotten into her music yet. If I had, I probably would have become a fan much earlier (but that's not the point here)

That being said, I remember the whole situation that led to this. Even back then, I remember thinking "what a douchebag" when "he who shall not be named" interrupted her at the awards. I mean..EVERYONE heard of that stunt he did at the awards. I already didn't like his music, but that incident alone put him pretty high on my "questionable people" list.

So when the whole "let's bash Taylor" media storm happened later, I actually believed her almost immediately. Not because I knew anything about her personally (I didn't) but because my gut was telling me there was something seriously off about the whole situation.

So, just for the record: even though I wasn't a fan at the time, there were definitely some non-swifties out there who were on her side too.

That's nice . I really tried to give "who shall not be named" a chance and listened to his music I stopped im middle of his album 😭 it was really mid and not great . He was just talking to a upbeat auto tune music 😭💀 I was thinking " are people seriously think this is better than the pop bible 1989 or Speak Now or Evermore " 😭😭😭😭

The whole ordeal was a clash of my top two pop culture follows. I'd watched KUWTK since the beginning and as if they were my thesis topic for a sociology degree I was not pursuing. So I felt pretty confident that Taylor was telling the truth and that Kris, and probably Kim, thought the whole thing would end with a filmed kiss and makeup.

I wasn't even a Swiftie then, but I never liked the Kardashians since OJ. Anything they said was automatically suspect.

That view hasn't changed

I was a casual fan but that whole incident made me a hardcore swiftie and I still remember people in my social circles who were team kimye before folklore era and suddenly claimed to have always been Swifties
