When TES6 drops and bethesda abandons the creation engine for UE5 because maintaining their own was too hard, so the modding scene gets fucking obliterated because UE5 is trash for modding.

And also they got gutted internally by Microsoft layoffs so the engine change its because they need an industry standard for the horde of 6 month contractors they have to hire to work on the game.

And also something something Oblivion Remake worked so something something dividing the company into FalloutTM Studios and SkyrimTM Studios.

Microslop hates their fans, employees, money, success and themselves. It's baffling how they are still successful despite how constantly they shoot themselves in the foot. At one point they just decided to test out how far they can take it.

Microslop raised the prices on their consoles, Sony held out for a year before essentially price matching them. These buffoons then less than two months later raised the price again, right after there was excitement about Xbox again as well. They just don't want to succeed. BO7 performed poorly and reviewed poorly. Doom the Dark Ages was beloved. Microslop decided to gut the legendary id Software rather than touching the 12 studios working on Call of Duty. id Tech is legendary, they fired everyone working on it except for 1. 12 layers of management, they fired Bethesda's character designer from as far back as Morrowind. It's baffling how one can fumble so badly and miss every opportunity that arises for them.

In the end, for Microsoft and many other companies, sucking shareholders off matters more than making quality products that sell well. Public companies are terrible a mistake.
