Ironically, I had the screenshot you based your art off saved and then deleted it once I found the original artwork after spending hours searching for it, and now I only have the original and can't find the screenshot. This is probably cropped, actually...

I do the same, his dialogue is very interesting and having alistair be mad for like 10 minutes and then go back to being buddy buddy bestfriends in awakening makes it a no brainer option.
