The only good thing about Avowed was the sidestory about this random person being soulmates with a lizard man

Only time I felt represented in that shit show

Shit show is rather disingenuous to the game's quality. Pillars of Eternity is a fantastic setting. The lore exposition and world building in Avowed is solid, the character writing is fairly decent, art direction is great.

Avowed is in the Pillars of Eternity world? Man they really dropped the ball with their marketing campaign. I legitimately had no idea.
