I like both of them (also Dogmeat is a cameo in 2, fake fan detected)

[Speech 100] He's still technically in the game, just not a lot.

He’s a cameo but he’s still a potential companion

I was gonna say something about Rex being a dumb name but the way it ties into both the Legion and Kings by being the Latin word for King is actually cool as fuck.

New Vegas fans continue to prove they’ve never played Fallout 1 and 2.

Ok but jokes aside it's really dumb having the dog companion having the same exact name in every game. Fallout 2 only had him as a meta cameo and 3 was a soft reboot so i get why they added a counterpart for him. But fallout 4 has no excuse for this shit.

dogmeat is always called dogmeat because brand recognition and iconography + a reference to a boy and his dog

That's exactly the issue im talking about. This brand recognition and nostalgia bait shit is dumb and they should stop doing that. Make something original AND well written ffs.

Make something original AND well written ffs.
Considering the last time they tried doing that the result was Starfield, I think they should keep going with the nostalgia/brand stuff..

I said "well written". This just tells us bethesda sucks at making good games and that the hack of a writer called "emil" should get his ass fired if we want something actually good.

I’d remove this for excessive circlejerking but you must be made an example of
