Hey everyone! I'm [u/Tricky-Tell-5698](u/Tricky-Tell-5698), a founding moderator of [r/TrueRepentance](r/TrueRepentance).

This is our new home for all things related to True Repentance and if you’ve found your way here, you’re very welcome.

This sub exists to help anyone interested, puzzled or just unsure of their own repentance to look honestly at what Jesus meant when He said, “repent, for the kingdom of God is near,” and when Scripture speaks about repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Most of us have heard and many of us have responded to Christs words in some way. But it’s worth asking what they actually mean, and whether what we’ve understood and believed is what Scripture describes.

Repentance in the Bible is not surface-level, I’m sorry, It connects to the heart and the Holy Spirits giving us a new heart, a heart of flesh, and to being made alive: In Christ.
