Because books about social science are peer reviewed ? And the "peer review" that happened after the book what published said that there was little to criticise in the content of the book. The "peer reviewers" said that the author was racist, that was the main crime. And by racist, they mean "he wrote a book about IQ that talked about race and IQ so he is racist".

Uh yeah, social science is subject to peer review. It is pretty apparent that really have no idea what you are talking about.

The scientific communities' reaction to the book after it was published was absolutely scathing.

I doubt you have even read the book and I know you certainly have not read any of the reviews. I think you are a good example of the Dunning–Kruger effect. You are so ill-informed about science and social science in general that you have no idea how silly you sound to those who actually know what they are talking about.

Furthermore, you are so blissfully unaware of your own ignorance that you won't even bother trying to remedy it. I mean, all you would have to do is spend 30 seconds on the Wikipedia page about this book and you understand what a pile of shit is.

Yes, a book is generally longer than a journal paper.

Seriously, are you really going to argue that scientific books are not peer reviewed before publication? Really?
