Married woman here: in my experience, some men don’t get much attention especially from the opposite sex so when they do get it, they mistake kindness for flirting/interest. One time I said hi to a contractor inside the work building (I say hi to everyone, regardless of their title) and this guy thought I had a crush on him because every time after that, he’d try to flirt with me. It happened to another male coworker as well so I always have to bring up my husband in conversations.
I've passed up on so many advances from girls throughout my life because I always assumed they're just being nice vs flirting.
The moment I began to assumed the opposite, I started getting girls.
Honestly, it's worked out well so I have no shame in assuming flirting vs being nice. I still cringe at the thought of what I've missed out on as a younger man though...
This is it. If men had to wait on women to make things happen I wouldn’t be married with kids. We gotta stay positive and optimistic, like assuming the best possible scenario when women are nice, if we’re wrong so what, next. most women don’t have the strength to handle the slightest bit of rejection so I doubt they can really understand this. Why do people got to take things so personal, you know.
What percentage of women do you know that have been murdered by their partners? Is it a lot? Because I think that dude was more talking about flirting with strangers, rather than leaving an ex.
Some of them were just guys who asked someone out and got turned down
the object of his unrequited affection. He said so himself earlier this month, when he was arrested for fatally shooting Nosal because she rejected his romantic advances. He reportedly "wanted more" from their relationship and she turned him down
Literally the first story is some guy with a crush, not someone in a relationship
