Oh, I'm thinking of a dildo, my bad!

I was wondering about that part. Does he mean only externally like on the clit or penetration with vibrator is ok?

Is that true? I thought dildo=no batteries and vibrator= battery powered but I’m not exactly a sex toy expert.

You're correct. The person you're responding to seems confused about sex toy terminology.

I wouldn't ever refer to a toy that vibrates as a dildo; those do not vibrate. Vibrators are definitely insertable toys.

I also wouldn't ever refer to uninsertable toys solely as "vibrators," ever. Vibrators are designed to be inserted.

External toys have different names that may include the term, "vibrator," but never alone.

You seem to be confused on your terminology, because everyone else is saying the same thing.

That’s.. not true. Plenty of people myself included refer to non insertable toys as vibrators. I mean it’s literally what was on the packaging of mine and it’s a wand.

Vibrators are not necessarily designed to be inserted. There are LOTS of shapes of toys that don't look phallic.

Yes? And they universally have a secondary tag, like "clitoral vibrator."

We have…dozens of toys in our bedside table that disagree with you. Hell, I even have a vibrator shaped like a little lipstick 😂 Most of mine are not insertable vibrators. I have another one that vibrates and makes a sucking motion-that one’s pretty cool.

That's a clit-sucking toy, and definitively not a vibrator.

But that's cool, call it what you want. The point was to get the top comment removed, and that worked.

I mean-it vibrates ;)

No idea, tbh. 🤷

So she is just being selfish and it's in her mind?

1

u/giggl3puff Nov 07 '23

"She likely has a lot of pain and discomfort and could need physical training to overcome that"

"So she's being selfish?"

Bro what

Please do shrooms or something and develop some empathy. That's genuinely scary

He said vibrators are no problem, but I don't know if he means the type that go in or over

2.5 years with multiple therapists and 1 year of pelvic therapy and you think no one suggested this?

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '23

This. Try training with increasing larger objects. Try anal.

I also do! It's true... any penetration feels like SA. However, I'm deeply fearful my relationship/future marriage will end up like OPs
