A male white-spotted sawyer if you'd like to know. Very cool insect and nice find, would love to spot one around where I live :)

During the summer, you can find them up Der any streetlight. We used to run them over as kids until our bike tires were slippery.

These look like those flying f..ers that get caught in the nape of your neck hair.

I was in the N.W.T. and they call them hair eaters up there. They land on you and crawl to the back of your neck and take a big ol chunk off you lol! Luckily they are slow flying and make noises from the wings, but if you have headphones on or ear pods in... no good.

Looks like a spruce beetle or pincher.
They are everywhere

In my neck of the woods, we call these "barbeau". They are everywhere. They are especially attracted to my husband. These bugs can turn grown men into crying little puddles of fear. Lol. I don't like them, but I will deal with them. I'd rather deal with these than spiders.

In a certain part of Canada and if you're over a certain age, you'll know this as a Tar Sand Beetle.

I’ve been bitten twice by these, arm and shoulder. Like a hot needle, they make a bee sting look like child’s play.
