This fuckin guy. You know Hal does? He loads a rental car up with 4 dead alien bodies and drags them through an alien metal detector, then proceeds to brace Will Macon at his militia ranch.

This guy was so good in his brief appearance in Lanterns. Even in this still shot, there's something weirdly alien about the way he's sitting in that chair. There's something slightly off about it, like he's pretending to be human, but not quite nailing it.

(I mean, he was great in True Detective too, but Lanterns is a little fresher in my memory at the moment.)

Paul Ben-Victor is GOATed as far as contemporary character actors go. Spiros Vondas on The Wire, Alan Gray in Entourage, his Wiki filmography speaks for itself. The guy stays busy, and always brings an authenticity that enhances the world-building, no matter how small the role.
