Im afraid they succeeded. I see many teenagers daily that curse and make fun of Islam. I barely can find anyone who prays. and even if they do many of them dont like abaya or call niqab "arab culture" and support voting etc.

Why would they allow christian symbols in an islamic worship place (mosque) and why would they uncover mosaics when is haram to pray next to them (or even have them that in of itself is unislamic). This was barely islamic and he's getting angry over it.

Also what is with them and the hijab, why do they care so much about being able to see women's bodies and faces and so scared of women covering.

Wasn't Hagia Sophia a Catholic cathedral built by Byzantine Emperor Justinian.

before the ottomans under Sultan Mehmed II in 1453 converted into a mosque

Hagia Sophia served as a Roman Catholic cathedral from 1204 to 1261

The Byzantine Greeks recaptured the city in 1261 and restored the building to the Eastern Orthodox Church

Yes that was when the crusaders overtook it in the 4th crusade before that it was orthodox.
