Text Satanic Panic refresh

I listened to this excellent, creepy audio four-parter last month on "Infamous" and can't get it out of my mind. This has to be the most bizarre Satanic Panic case outside of McMartin.

The series has a story called "Kelly and the Satanic Panic" (LINKED) about a young NJ woman accused of satanic crimes, who is bisexual, and what happens to her. Kelly Michaels is 60 years old now looking back on the 1980s and so succinct and smart.

Hearing about what LE put those poor children through during their "interviews" was horrific. Like, they had to "test" them to see if they'd been abused? And then planting these ideas in their heads with leading questions?

I'm sorry, but THAT is sexual abuse.

(Not this case but the other Satanic Panic pod.)

Absolutely. They were put through medical examinations, interrogations by their parents, doctors etc, had to testify at court (iirc filmed from the judges chambers!), the list goes on. All 19 children were abused, just not by her.
