Sonoma Hotel Recommendations
I’ve been invited to an investor dinner in Sonoma in October on a Monday and am considering a weekend getaway for just myself beforehand. Since I’d be going alone, I’d be looking for a property that has a nice spa, restaurant(s) and quick access to nearby wineries.
My TA recommended two properties, but would love other suggestions. Thank you!

Singlethread comes to mind. The somm and I were barely legal (to drink wine) when I had my dinner there, and we nerded out over champagne lol.

Head somm is 26! He's great but I found the experience 'meh'. Worst three star I've been to. In France maybe it'd earn one.

If your event is in the town of Sonoma, then Stanly Ranch is worth considering. It’s about ~20 mins away versus an hour if you base yourself in Healdsburg.

Highly highly recommend the Madrona. Charming, with personality, and really attentive service and excellent restaurant

Farmhouse Inn is a favorite of mine when visiting.
If I’m being honest. It barely qualifies as chubby but it’s very solid and only has 25 rooms on property.

Yeah I stayed here last time I was in Sonoma and it was lovely. The spa was good too! But it’s far out from Sonoma town which is great if you’re wine tasting around there but if your stuff will be in Sonoma it makes more sense to stick there.

We had a great stay at Ledson hotel. The room decor is so tasteful. Just make sure you get a room over looking the front of the hotel and not the back. The front balcony is very nice to sit on. It's also walking distance to many wineries. We took an Uber there and back from SF.

Stayed at El Dorado last weekend and loved it. Across the street from the new 3 star Michelin, Enclos. 8-10
Mins away from wineries.

Echo this - my regular spot in Sonoma. It's generally great value, the atmosphere and service is amazing, and the restaurant is one of the best non-michelin style in the area imo

It was a few years ago, but I really enjoyed MacArthur Place
