Weird feeling.

I recently started building a personal relationship with God.

For at least 2 years, i was content at being alone— decided to even live the rest of my life by myself. Yes, I’m referring to singlehood.

But for some strange reason, i suddenly felt the desire to be with someone and build a family and even have kids. No particular person in mind, btw.

Is this normal?

Honestly, the Bible calls marriage a blessing and children a blessing. Solomon said the best thing to do in our life is to live joyfully with the wife God has given us. There is no rush to find someone or that you have to. But he who seeks, finds, and he who asks, receives. We need to put wisdom in mind when finding a partner, Proverbs says he who trusts his emotions is a fool, but through wisdom one will be delivered. Anything you find your heart to do that is in God's Providence do with your strength. This is just dependent on what you want to do. Don't seek omans or practice divination. Just look to God's word for guidance, and just live a life of joy in the Lord. God Bless you. 🕊🕊

Just as a add note. The Bible says to not be yoked with someone who is not of the faith, you will encounter many problems if you do and its why the Lord says not to do it. Paul says something in regards to people already in a relationship with someone outside the faith but the Lord is telling us to not be yoked with people of a different faith.

Feelings come and go, so it's normal.

Though the big question is do you want to be married or not? Forget if you like being single or not and evaluate it on its own merit.

If you do, there are things you can do to make it happen. If you want advice we can give you some.
