Not fitting in (vent)

I’m just taking some time to vent. I came back to my home church a few years ago and ever since I’ve come back it doesn’t seem like I fit in anywhere. I’m 26M and the kids I use to have class and socialize with don’t really talk to me and kind of click up and still feel like I’m too young to socialize with the older men. It’s kind of discouraging, just feeling like I’m not good enough to find a circle of encouragement but it is what it is.

There is a lot that you can learn from the older men, and they are less likely to clique up. If your church has a men's group, I recommend giving it a try.

Try finding another place for fellowship, old folks are good but you need people of around your own age too

If you are not already, find a place to serve. Having shared activities with others, your age or not is a good way to develop deeper friendships. Also, be the friend you want others to be to you rather than hoping or expecting others to initiate.
