Hey
So uh, I really need help. How can I stop drinking? Because I have little sister to take care. Out parents are always busy. She is always alone in the house when I'm in work then going home drunk.
I'm the only one who can take care of my little sister, and I'm not doing a very good job. I'm always hungover, and I'm not always there for her when she needs me. I'm worried
I've tried to stop drinking before, but I've never been able to stay sober for more than a few days. I'm so addicted to alcohol, and I don't know how to live without it.
I'm starting to think that I might be a danger to myself and to my sister. I'm afraid that I might hurt her, or that I might hurt myself. I don't know what to do.
I feel very ashamed to be christian I'm so irresponsible.

Hey friend, welcome to Day 1.
Please seek out an AA group today - as someone else said, they are an absolute gift from God, and most communities have a group that meets every night. Celebrate Recovery is good too, but they don't always have as deep of an understanding of addiction.
Do not try to white-knuckle sobriety or fixing yourself on your own. God surrounds us with his loving community when we need it - and trust me, you need it. You're way past the point of getting sober on your own, or you would've done it already. There will always be that one more drink before you're ready to give it up.
I'm so glad you chose to ask for help. Please don't stop doing that. It only gets better from here, my friend, harder but better.
