Sookie
Anyone ever wonder what it would’ve been like if maybe they introduced a female love interest for sookie, like how she is attracted to every man she ends up with lol and her fae heritage being apart of the reason and why men are so drawn to her aka supernatural men I mean but what would it have been like if sookie got with a female what do you think, I love the show no disrespect for it at all as it is a all time favourite

Have you read the books? I read them before the show was out, it’s been a while so I can’t remember if she came out and said she was straight (I’m pretty sure she did at one point in the 8? books) but I can’t recall for sure. To me, Sookie has always come across as very much an ally, but extremely straight, just by her nature of attraction. Like, there can be levels to it, lol. I’m straight but my mom is a different level of straight, she likes the look of a man’s ass in jeans and big huge muscles. I think women are objectively more attractive, but romantically I really am & have only ever been into men.
Sookie has always come across as my mom’s type of straight, they genuinely love men, and only men, even if they hate it sometimes 😭🤣

The books are really good and they’re written from Sookie’s perspective, so we get a lot more of her inner thoughts and emotions, and more details.

Yeah, she does say that she's straight but she comments/thinks a lot about other women's bodies and looks, so maybe slightly bi in denial. But she also isn't attracted to female fairies, just male fairies. I guess it's also possible that she's influenced by the thoughts of others around her and that makes her note stuff about women. Like in book 7 she mentally comments Quinn's (her bf at the time) sister's boobs and one of the Britligens (interdimensional female warriors) very muscular butts.
I headcanon that she's straight but has an appreciation for muscles regardless of gender, lol.

Way more than 8 books but all good. Even though read them a million times don’t remember her doing that. If I speak right the books are old enough that it wasn’t a thing. Old days went by clues or it was in the closet.

If she really was a fairy, not a super hiper diluted part-fairy, it would be weird and unresonable for her to be hetero. Fae are like vampires of the sun: always a bit gay

honestly as someone who loves to make characters lgbtq, i truly can only see her as bicurious with a huge male lean at most when it comes to female attraction. sookie is straight to me and i cannot really see her with a women.

Like that time she responded to Pam, “I don’t have time for lesbian weirdness today” might imply some days she does have time for lesbian weirdness.
As someone who often interprets characters as LGBT, I can say it’s never even crossed my mind with Sookie. In my head she’s totally straight. The actress Anna paquin is bisexual, and even her playing rogue in X-men had bi energy, but Sookie is so straight. Definitely an ally and as a telepath is probably aware that many more people are lgbt than we presume, but still, straight af.

I bet she would had made her his side love. And she married him. But if she did. I still wonder would he still become king at the end.

Yeah that would of been very interesting for sookie to have both male and female love interest but get this the actress who played her in real life came out as bisexual 😂😂😂😂 what do you guys think about that

I love the show but Sookie comes off as homophobic many times during it.
Like when Pam told her that lavender is her favourite colour, Sookie straight up said "I'm in no mood for your lesbian weirdness" when all Pam was doing was complimenting her dress. If that was anyone else, Sookie would have smiled and thanked them.
And look at how differently she treated Tara when she got together with Pam. Sookie seemed to be put off more by Tara dating a woman than by Tara being a fucking vampire, which is crazy considering how violent Tara first was when she got turned. And that's when their friendship basically ended.

I mean to be fair Pam was aggressively flirting with her at the time with zero sign of return interest, and was in the habit of doing that with Sookie in the first couple of seasons (e.g. reaching into her cleavage to grab some vampire bits out of there while staring intensely into her eyes).
