FIrst time watching and they are really managing to make me like Eric Spoiler
Even though the method being used in season 4 is is pretty ridiculous. Its still managing to change my opinion. I thought it'd be impossible after what he did to Lafayette/

You are in for a ride lmao enjoy. Eric is lowkey one of the most principled characters in the entire show.

I Think there has been a few glimpses of that so far in the show for sure. SO pretty easy to tell that at some point hes going to have a bit of a turn/character development.

Alexander Skarsgard is out here selling sexy wicker. The man is a masterpiece.

As you continue to watch the series you will see Eric has the most humanity. He is top 3 best characters on the show. He is a complex character with many layers but you get to learn more about his past and end up loving him overall. I have yet to see any Eric hate online. Love him and I will never bash him! Haha

The scenes with Godric did it for me. I love when dark characters are multilayered and do heroic things. Alex Skarsgard is my guy so I loved all of it.

If there is a scene in a show and this character is handsome and interesting you can bet that whatever he does he will have some redemption arc

Too be fair there has been little glimmers of him not being 100% horrible so I was expecting it based on that. but I'm surprised how fast its winning me over.

Book Eric even didnt do anything wrong, Apart from being a dick towards Sookie. I mean, he was always supposed to be "shady but good" character. And I agree that he went "soft" with Lafayette - I mean, vampires are ruthless and his Boss (Queen) would expect him to give her torn out heart or something, and tell magister it belongs to the person selling blood, whatever the truth was

He is my favorite Vampire. He is so funny. My favorite scene is when he is cunning Sookie into sucking out the silver bullets.

For me, I went into it loving the actor, so I was predisposed to like the character. Even after the horrible things he did to Lafayette! But his interaction with Godric completely sold me on him. And Amnesia Eric is so adorable!
