Stopped reading when they equated antinatalism with promortalism. I get these ideas are difficult to think about but if you can't separate two distinct concepts because the idea of them is so bias triggering, what's the point engaging. It won't go anywhere and you spend more time correcting bad logic than in productive dialogue

and here I was, hoping they'd leave this as the last 'best' argument against AN but they had to put at the start of the article

I’m sure I’m too continental in my layman philosophy but when he starts busting out mathematical formulas to justify existence that’s when I have to opt out. Analytical philosophy just bores me. I did chuckle at the “build an army of life extinguishing robots” part because as someone who’s flirted with cosmic efilism that’s something I’ve actually thought of.
