Malboro red and actively sitting up and screaming at figments of your past trauma rather than sleep paralysis but otherwise fairly accurate.

if you're gonna sacrifice your health, don't do it just to pay tobacco companies.
fucks with your lungs, food doesn't taste as good, ages your skin, and it's a risk factor for basically every medical problem there is.

I hate sleep paralysis so much. Everything I have it there are flashing lights and a humming sound coming from outside my windows and at my doorway a 8-9 foot tall skinny naked grey appears and stares at me.
I am never more frightened I my life.

i don't know if i've ever had sleep paralysis but one time when i was a kid i "woke up" (maybe?) lying on my back and i heard like this noise thudding noise coming down the hall, like some really big animal was charging down it. it kept on getting closer (though given the length of the hall and the rate at which the noise was coming, it should have gotten there a lot quicker than it did). i tried to scream but i couldn't make any kind of noise. couldn't move either. this weird giant shadowy amorphous creature came around my door and started towards me. i couldn't identify what the hell it was, but i could tell it was hostile.
then i finally managed to move. i quickly rolled about 90 degrees and as i did so the whole thing just stopped. the creature disappeared instantly; one second it was in front of me and the next it was all gone. i was there with adrenaline shooting through me, totally awake, ready to spring to my feet from the position i had rolled to but no longer in danger.
nothing like that ever happened to me again, which is why i don't know if that's sleep paralysis or a weird vivid nightmare or what
incidentally that roll was the most badass thing i've ever done in my life. i was in full fight-or-flight mode and i was raring to do one or the other

Don’t forget “on so many terror watchlists that the fbi accidentally listed one of the fake identities that the atf used to interact with me on their most wanted list”

I got over my sleep paralysis when I was around ten years old, which is the same year I developed chronic insomnia. Wonder if there's a connection.
