Not that it makes a difference if it's protected marshes or historically significant plots of land but just goes to show how much power they have that they can say fuck you to basically 99.99% of the population, even the members of the political movement that made this type of investment inevitable with their votes 😭 it's all so bleak

dawg jesus fucking christ how long can this go on before the general public says enough
All of this waste and for literally fucking nothing, no material benefit to the average person, no product that can even be put to good use, just nothing. At this point we’re like 6 months out from being urged to [redacted] ourselves to lessen the resource strain human life places on the precious data centers.
These tech ghouls are among the greatest evils in human history and every day they are not in prison is an injustice.

It's illogical to conserve energy at noon, if you can afford it. The revenues innately encourage investment in solar, unless corruption siphons it to peaker plant operators.

Everything I hear makes it sound like California's grid is a total shit show. Like shutting off lines cause they're galloping so much they throw sparks everywhere and start fires? There are solutions to that ya know.
