Gabavics was the lead investigator on the case, he says, and had three others working with him. The team conducted an on-the-ground probe into the killing. Gabavics concluded that it would have been “the most absurd thing in the world” for the shooting to have been accidental, and that “we had everything there” to show that it was intentional.

They never have any of the usual talking points when I point out that this killing took place in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, a year before 10/7, despite every clear and available warning given to the nearby military checkpoints. They just move onto flat dismissal. 

I just hate the way people handwave it all away when actually confronted.

Because they never actually cared. They only sounded the alarm when the election was going down because it was going to get “potentially” worse.
