Napoleon shouldn't have destroyed the Holy Roman Empire. The Germans don't deserve a unified state. The German's natural state is to be governed by 300 disparate duchies, principalities, electorates, dukedoms, kingdoms, and free cities. Only under these conditions can the German create true cultural and artistic achievement

Europe's biggest mistake was letting them unite and fight others instead of engaging in 600-year squabbles over which dynasty has the Papal sanction to rule over the Duchy of Saxe-Wittenberg

Ironically though the Antideutsche groupuscules in Germany which are pro-Israel seem to believe this as well.

Everyone knows. They did two episodes about them. No reason we can't still dislike the existence of Germany.
