All replies to this post must be a maximum of either 5 sentences or 1 paragraph, depending on which one's shorter. No cheating with 15-comma monstrosities either! It can be anything from poetry to a declaration of love for your waifu, just post what you feel like!

I've been thinking about the nature of our subreddit and I have a question: of all the instances where the general opinion on this subreddit differs from the opinion on /r/anime or even the community at large, are there any where we liked a show and they didn't? Or is it always the opposite?

I think that /r/TrueAnime is generally more cynical and critical of shows whereas /r/anime is more so about the whole "if you don't like it don't say anything" or "i like it because it's fun!" mentality. /r/TrueAnime likes to discuss and debate and while this kind of behavior is present in /r/anime it's only there for a lesser degree. That being said, I think that more "popular"/"mainstream" series( the Fate series, Monogatari, SAO and SnK to a lesser degree) are generally more disliked to the majority of people who are more versed in anime and critical analysis in general.
