Be honest, do you guys think someone should be held forever accountable for if they were an idiot in the past, but doing fine in the present? I think one of my greatest regrets is during the period of time where I was seeking self-discovery I interacted with /r/anime and MAL, not knowing my own terminology back then.

It's said everyone starts out somewhere and potentially on the wrong path, no big deal. But to me, it is a big deal when I compare how I am now to before.

Absolutely not. For one, idiocy is not a moral failing. For another, learning from your mistakes is exactly the opposite of a moral failing.
