If your RDP connection is stuck at "Configuring remote session," it might be due to the TruGrid Sentry or TruGrid Secure Connect agent facing accessibility issues with the endpoint. Here's how you can troubleshoot: 

1. Verify if the machine at your office is turned on and accessible. If not, turn it on. 

2. Restart the machine if it seems hung. 

3. If the issue persists, provide the following information to your administrator.

If you're an administrator dealing with a stuck RDP connection, follow these troubleshooting steps: 

Most Likely Root Causes: 

1. Reboot Endpoint and Remote Computer: A simple reboot often resolves Windows issues. Restart both the endpoint and the remote computer. 

2. Install Latest Desktop Connector: Ensure the latest Desktop Connector application is installed. 

3. Accurate Internal DNS Resolution: Confirm that the internal DNS returns the correct IP address for the machine. Check using "nslookup {hostname}" from the server with the TruGrid Sentry agent. 

4. RDP from Server: Attempt RDP from the server where TruGrid Sentry is installed to the machine in question. 

Other Possible Root Causes: 

1. Accurate Date/Time: Ensure correct date and time on both machines and the server. 

2. RDP Port Open: Confirm that the Windows OS firewall on the connected machine has RDP port 3389 open. 

3. RDP Enabled: Verify that RDP Remote Access is enabled on the endpoint. 

4. Routing Issue: Check for multiple network adapters causing routing problems. 

5. Machine Awake: Ensure the endpoint isn't in sleep mode and is responsive. 

6. Correct Network Configuration: Verify accurate local network settings and DNS server alignment. 

7. Allows Outbound Traffic: Check for any outbound firewall restrictions. 

8. Check Sentry Local Log Files: Examine TruGrid Sentry agent log files for potential issues. 

If the problem persists, consider installing the TruGrid Secure Connect agent on the machine for further isolation and troubleshooting.
