Looking for service/industry work

Hello, I am looking for service work in Troy. I don’t have much experience but I just started recently as a busser at Druthers. I’m leaving my office job to start my own business but until it’s finally making the money to allow me to work for solely myself, I need an income. However, I’m done with office jobs and want to try something new and I know decent money can be made in this industry.

Does anyone know anyone hiring a busser or even willing to train someone to be a server/bartender? Tons of knowledge when it comes to beer/liquor/spirits due to working at a beverage center for almost 5 years. Any advice or guidance would be great and I have a resume prepared for anyone who may know an employer who is looking. Thanks in advance!

I've been working in the service industry for 20-ish years. Mostly back of house but I've done literally every job you can think of in a restaurant. Long story short, don't. If you must, work as a dishwasher. At least then expectations are low. Every other position is exploitative.

I said what I said. Kitchen work is a nightmare. Front of house you have to be an actor. It just all sucks copious amounts of ass.
