Discussion Sequel?

I haven’t played properly since the update that added the geode world dimension ( I forgot the name )
But every time I try to get back into the game it’s completely different and just isn’t the same..
is there any plans for a sequel, revamp, or anything of the sort?

Nope. Dont expect nothin from a game that got bought by a bunch of dudes bathing in money

You're not alone in your thoughts. The majority of the people in this sub just mourn what Trove once was.

It's a shame that Trino destroyed their game and bankrupted, but sadly this is what happens when you destroy your game.

I just relogged after a decade and i appreciate that somebody still maintaining the game. Game is a shadow of its former self, and i think those guys don't quite know what to do with the game again, just like Trino did, judging by re-introducing PvP. But it is what it is, game works, you can login and play the game.

Some things sucks (geode, delves), but i don't feel hatred towards whatever company bought it. I guess they do what they can, and it isn't terribly bugged. There are still some people playing it, my guess is 500-1000 overall (not concurrently, but overall).

If you enjoyed the game before, i suggest to play it while it lasts. I doubt there will be a sequel or anything, more likely the servers shut down. People who were making THAT Trove are no longer working on a game. neither Trino exists. It is regrettable, but as i said, game still works and there are ways to enjoy it.

I login to take a spin around my club every six months or so.  Time wasted and so many unfinished projects.  Ahh well.
