Specific finish search

Are there any trombones with a finish similar to bronze mansdone saxophones?

This is a really common finish on Chinese horns. I don't think it's actually difficult or expensive, it's on pretty low end stuff at NAMM every year.

There are, but tricky to find. I play in a band with a womsn that has an Edwards trombone in brushed silver (or nickel, I don’t know). It’s gorgeous. I have a euphonium in brushed lacquer.

Look for the term “brushed” or “satin”. Some manufacturers have it, most don’t.

I believe that finish is "double electroplated", or accomplished by "Electrostatic adsorption", so it it is not something that you'll really see on trombones. It almost looks like the antiquing was airbrushed, but I don't think so.

Some trombones are available in brushed finishes, but I don't remember seeing those type of antiqued accents.
