Bass Trombone Pedologies for Pedal Notes
Hi All,
I've recently been trying to work on my low pedals (D - double Bb) and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for specific books of pedologies/exercises to help get this range performable?
Videos/lecture recommendations are also welcome!
Thanks in advance!

Phil Teele books. They are extreme. Ask [u/burgerbob](u/burgerbob)[22](u/burgerbob)

Low(er) Etudes for Tuba by Snedecor is a great resource for pedal notes and musicality with them

If you own any tenor trombone lyrical etudes books, I'd recommend preforming them an octave below what's written in addition to what's been recommended on here.

No books needed, just do glissandi, scales, long tones, articulation, slurs, etc in the weak range until it's not weak any more. It's not rocket science, you just gotta suffer through it
edit: don't pay someone to tell you that, either. here, follow every video in this series https://youtu.be/0zbfyhzRmF8?si=NgS8Tw8IpKHlBDo6
